Description

The Chaplet of St. Jean de Brébeuf is a small Marian bead strand with a hand-crocheted hand-felted wool cross ending, a centre bead and a circular bead set consisting of 10 beads. The beads and cross are in combinations of red and black. Red is the symbolic colour of martyrs in the Catholic tradition and black was the colour of the robes of the Jesuits at the time of St. Jean de Brébeuf. The main prayers used to pray this chaplet are the Our Father, the Hail Mary and the Glory Be.

St. Jean de Brébeuf was an Apostle to the Hurons, a Jesuit and a North American Martyr.

This chaplet is shipped with a prayer page providing instructions on its use and with a plastic storage bag to protect both the chaplet and the prayer page.
